My Flame

Magpie Prompt compliments of Willow

Your flame jumps with the current of soft air
Cathartic is your touch.
My heart feels free and open to receive
I found my release.
Supporting me, you release a little more wick
burning off the dead.
With each passing year
The burning hurts a little less.
You provide me the finest oils
To saturate my veins
Once stagnant, now flow.
The light infuses the room
Your glow comforts the space.
I welcome its warmth
And thank God for your grace.

Dedicated to the most wonderful husband
a girl could ever hope for Stephen C. Haskell

How sweet.

I just wrote a magpie tale also. It's my 2nd and I had trouble printing it properly, so it looks awful. I thought of a good solution but I'm worn out and afraid to keep messing with it.

Sorry, just venting frustration.

I really like your poem.

Oh, Kristen, I'm sure, where ever he is today, he'll read these words and understand the love behind them, and I bet he'll blush.
Two lovely dogs.
Beautiful piece you wrote, covering not only the emotion, but a sense of the timelessness and the growth of love.

I love, love, LOVE, the way you write.

Also I'd like to thank you for all your encouragement. This past week has been one of the most difficult in my life. I wasn't sure I'd make it. Your words were exactly the hug I needed from the universe and I humbly thank you.

Nice Mag. Love and Light, Sender

First, please forgive me for taking so long to return your kind visit. Here I am now!

This is gorgeous. All those things that shift within us, because of that special Other...you have expressed them beautifully. And...I love the picture. "Let's go, Daddy!" hehehe.
