what you can't fix

Muscle memory disappear

Sooth away the fear

Trying to soak in bravery

Fighting back a tear

Moving forward

Diagnosis unknown

And then known

Do I have to face this alone?

No

Love felt it too

He put a gentle hand on my shoulder

And whispered in my ear,

“Eyes closed warm water

Soft Music great wine

More importantly I am here.”

Worry momentarily diminished

Transported to the sublime

All will self correct in time.

Is there anything more relaxing and soothing than a hot bubbly bath?

I am hoping that in all uncertainty there is the loving hand of a loving person to soothe away the fear. So poignant and beautiful.

Lovely words, especially liked the

'momentarily diminished'

-thats why we love our baths so much.

I guess you mean 'love' as being a feeling within. I suspect the music and wine helped too!
Ah for a tub on board... two out of three ain't bad!

Love this. The last line, "All will self correct in time" is beautiful.

One of my best friends has a family crisis right now, and I nearly told her the same thing last night, to live through the questions until the answers appear...

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your compliment on my poem. Stop by & share a chocolate chip waffle any time, 24/7!! :)
