Mag 29

That is not my home

but that is my stuff sitting inside

This is not my life

but this is the body that houses my soul

I give it back to you

I did not ask for it

You provided it in spades.

It is big and from the outside it looks real nice

The inside needs a lot of work

Undisclosed work covered with a coat of Kilz

Shiny and fake with a premium price tag

Nobody needs to know.

Some things cannot be covered. No, not even with Kilz. Amazing Magpie!

How many dollars buy your soul? Yes, we should never go there but if we make that mistake, it is right to leave. Well expressed as only a poem can.
